Payment Kiosk: “No Internet”

Even if the kiosk is powered on, the LAN equipment could have lost power somehow. Look around for the equipment that is providing internet to the kiosk and see if they have any lights on them. If you don’t see lights, there may not be power to the equipment.

Check for Power

Disconnect the power supply from the internet equipment. Be sure to power off the modem and any routers connected to it. Remove power from the kiosk equipment. After about a minute restore power to the internet equipment followed by the kiosk. After boot up, check status.

Power Cycle

Reseating Ethernet cables can help troubleshoot connectivity issues caused by a loose or faulty connection. Locate the cable and gently unplug it from both devices. Inspect for any visible damage and straighten if necessary. Reinsert the cable into both devices, making sure it is securely fastened. Wait for connection to be established and check status.
